The aesthetics of the lips may be greatly enhanced by a simple surgical procedure. The return of the youthful appearance of the lips may be done by decreasing the area above the lip, lipo-sculpting the lips and aesthetically balancing the upper and lower lip.
The effects that come with age, exposure to sun, gravity and daily tensions leave their history on the face. Deep folds or crevices beside the nose and mouth and flaccidity in the neck area are common. The facelift can’t and will not prevent this aging process but it may “turn back the clock,” greatly improving the signs of aging by the removal of excess skin from the face and the neck. This procedure may be done alone or in conjunction with the plastic surgery procedure around the eyes and/or nose.

The facelift will remove the profound creases of the cheeks, the double chin, and the excess skin around the neck. The incisions are usually made along the hairline, by the temples, around the ears and under the hairline at the base of the neck. |

After surgery the whole facial area will be covered for two days. Once the swelling subsides, firmness and a more youthful appearance will please you. |
Rhinoplasty is the procedure to change the configuration of the nose, either by enlarging or minimizing the size of the nose, changing the tilt or size of the nostrils, or changing the angle between the nose and the upper lip. This is one of the most common plastic surgeries performed to correct birth defects, trauma from accidents or problems which occur due to a deviated septum.

Before surgery these patients present enlarged noses, slightly turned downward with an enlarged tip. If the nostrils are too large, small portions of skin may be removed, proportionately closing the nasal opening. |

Incisions are made at the base within the nose, removing and sculpting the cartilage and bone. |

A plastic covering taped to the nose is used to help the bone and cartilage maintain its new shape. After surgery the nose will be smaller or more aesthetically pleasing. |
This is the procedure where the folds of the upper and the pockets of the under eye lids can not only interfere with your vision but can also make you appear older. Crows feet and other wrinkles can’t fully be removed but can be greatly improved.

With age, muscles over the eyes weaken and skin begins to sag. Fatty tissue gathers around the eyes causing pockets. |

Before the surgery, the surgeon marks the incision areas following the natural contours and folds of the eyes. |

Localized fat, excess skin and flaccid muscles are removed during surgery. Fine sutures seal the incisions leaving invisible scars. |

After surgery the eyes become firm and smooth. |
In the first weeks of gestation the right and left side of the palate and lips normally will come together. One in eight hundred babies, however, are born with a cleft palate, harelip or both. If your child is born with any of these conditions, surgery to repair the fissure will be recommended. Doctors have had great success in the treatment of these conditions, enabling the child to have a normal, healthy, happy life.

To correct this fissure the doctor will incise each side with specific techniques. |

The scar will gradually disappear with time. |

When the roof of the palate does not grow together it is called a cleft palate. The surgeon will incise both sides of the fissure, merging them together, thus repairing the gap. | ![]() |
The tissues are sutured together, reconstructing the hard and soft palate. |
Otoplasty is usually suggested for the reduction of the size of the ears or to reposition the ears close to the head. This surgery can be done on children as young as four years old, as the ears have practically grown to their full size. This surgery is done while the patient is under general anesthesia and the patient can return home the same day. Adult surgery is usually done under local anesthesia with few risks to the patient. This surgery leaves no scars as most of the incision is behind the ear. A bandage is placed over the ear for a short period of time. Other forms of ear defects due to traumas, accidents, or tumors, may also be corrected by plastic surgery.
Laser surgery may be used for removal of small veins and blemishes. “Resurfacing” consists of removing the upper layer of the face. Small wrinkles and blemishes and small lesions are removed as well, causing the skin to become more jovial. This procedure is done under general anesthesia with a period of one to two weeks of post-op swelling. It is recommended that the patient stay out of the sun for at least six months: excellent results have been made with light skinned patients.
